Newgate hires Dan Billings as Director in Hong Kong

Newgate, the fast growing corporate, financial and public affairs communications consultancy, has announced the appointment of Dan Billings as Director, Financial Practice in its Hong Kong office.

Hong Kong, 17 August 2015 -­‐ Newgate, the fast growing corporate, financial and public affairs communications consultancy, has announced the appointment of Dan Billings as Director, Financial Practice in its Hong Kong office.

Dan has managed media and stakeholder communications for a wide range of high-­‐profile transactions and special situations across Asia Pacific, including most recently the initial public offering of MYOB, Australia’s largest ever technology IPO.

Dan joins from FTI Consulting, where he was most recently a Director in that firm’s Sydney office, serving clients across the capital markets and corporate affairs practices.

Prior to his spell in Australia, Dan was an Associate Director with Kreab Gavin Anderson in Hong Kong, and was previously a communications manager for Thomson Reuters in Hong Kong and New York. His clients have included Chinese SOEs, commercial and investment banks, private equity firms, traditional asset managers, hedge funds and market data providers.
